Re: Chivalry Update
On the subject of how to slightly improve the Knight swords, without turning them back to the old patch overpowered levels, someone, I think it was chaux who said maybe give them a range boost and imo I think that's the best way.
* Longsword & Sword of War range and pushback increased very slightly,
* Sword of War overhead damage slightly increased (from 75 to 77).
Though looking at the chart, it seems like they're trying to get the Knights to play the two handed axes and have the vanguards with the two handed swords. So in that sense, maybe I guess having the swords stay out match is their goal..

Every reprisal is itself an act of aggression, and every act of aggression triggers immediate reprisal.

Well that wouldn't help Vanguards fighting Knights. A SoW stab on a Vanguard nearly kills him, as in 2 stabs. Changing the range on that would make it that much harder to counter Knights. True, with any weapon stabbing a Vanguard, almost kills him, but SoW is already almost as fast as a Claymore, which to me just seems like trying to turn a Knight into a Vanguard.
The sword doesn't choose the winner of the battle, only the wielder of the sword can.
